Welcome to SiuHay: Local File Transfer (“the App”). The App is developed and operated by Team SiuHay (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how our Android mobile application handles information when you use our local file transfer services globally. Because our app operates locally on your device and network to transfer files, we do not collect, store, or sell your personal data.

To provide local file transfer capabilities, the App requests permission to access specific features and files on your Android device:

  • Photos, Music, Videos, and Storage: Access is strictly required to enable you to select, view, and transfer your local media files and documents between devices. All file transfers occur directly across your local network or peer-to-peer connection.
  • Notifications: Access is used solely to display local progress indicators, transfer statuses, and system alerts on your device.

Important: None of your files, photos, videos, media, or device data are uploaded to our servers, transmitted to us, or harvested by Team SiuHay. Everything stays on your local device or network.

3) How We Use Data

Because we do not collect or store your personal data, we do not use your personal information for marketing, analytics, profiling, or server-based processing.

Device permissions (such as access to your photos, media, and storage) are used purely in real-time on your local hardware to perform the core action you request: transferring your chosen files from one local device to another.

4) Sharing & Third-Party Processors

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal data with anyone.

We do not integrate any third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs), advertising networks, tracking tools, or cloud analytics services within the App. Your transfers are direct between local devices.

5) International Data Transfers

Because we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to remote servers, no international data transfers of your personal information occur. Your data remains strictly on your local device and network.

6) Data Retention Policy

We do not store your personal data or files on external servers or databases.

  • Any file processed by the App remains stored locally on your device according to your own file management preferences.
  • You retain full control over your files and can delete them from your device at any time.

7) Your Privacy Rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)

SiuHay: Local File Transfer is a mobile application and does not use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, or any other online tracking technologies.

We prioritize the security of your files. Since the App functions locally over peer-to-peer or local network connections:

  • File transfers occur directly between connected local devices without routing through central cloud servers.
  • We recommend that users perform transfers only over secure, trusted local Wi-Fi networks or direct local connections.

10) Children’s Privacy

Our App is intended strictly for users who are 18 years of age or older to prevent accidental or unauthorized purchases or usage by minors.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 18 (or under 13/16 depending on local jurisdiction). If you believe a minor has accessed the app inappropriately, please contact us so we can address your concerns.
